Angela Coppola – Founder & President
Style Talks founder and The LOVE Umbrella creator Angela Coppola has been a force in the fashion industry for 58 years. Promoted to International Corporate Creative Director of Fabergé in New York City at age 28, Angela later went on to start a full-service, San-Francisco-based marketing and ad agency, Coppola Communications. Collaborating with clients such as Celine, Jean Louis Sherrer, Jordache, Levi Strauss, Max Mara, and Nino Cerruti, her firm’s work appeared across the globe and won a number of ADDY Awards for excellence.
Angela’s love for fine silk later inspired her to become Founder & President of Sacred Silks International, a company specializing in designing and producing silk scarves and silk ties for the gift shops of museums and sacred sites worldwide, including The Smithsonian, Getty, Seattle Art Museum, Courtauld Institute of Art, and St Paul’s Cathedral in London. Angela created Style Talks, a fashion-forward clothing and accessory brand, to inspire hope and spread words of love and goodwill.
Now, at age 83, Angela has announced the launch of her newest design innovation: The LOVE Umbrella. Merging art, fashion, and function with a simple yet profound message that resonates across cultures and generations, the compact, folding umbrella features the word “Love” translated and printed on a bold canopy in 41 languages and a rainbow of colors.
Henry Gellis – President, Advisory Board
Henry brings over 20 years of experience as an Associate and Executive Producer on major studio films. He has a strong financial background in private equity and finance. An important part of our team, his creative talent is responsible for our launch video. He is also a founding stockholder of Awaken.com.
Sarah Hollins – Designer
Sarah studied graphic design at Northeastern University in Boston Massachusetts and has a degree in web design from the Art Institute of San Diego. She moved to California after college to escape the cold east coast winters. For 15 years she was the Art Director at a state-of- the-art printing company in San Diego. In her spare time, Sarah paints and takes photos. Sarah and Angela created the LOVE pattern for the first Style Talks Collection launch.
Valerie Cynthia Conklin – Videographer
Valerie not only shot and edited our spectacular launch video, she helped write, produce and cast it. Valerie graduated from Palomar College with a degree in Cinema in 2017. Throughout school and since, she has worked in various fields within the film industry, made numerous promotional films as a videographer and performs in film, theater and haunted attractions with aspirations to make a career as an actor and filmmaker. White attending college, Valerie was an important part of our office team…helping us to run an efficient and successful business.
Garrett Donahue – Designer
Garrett studied Photography and Graphic Design at San Jose State University, and earned a Bachelor’s Degree from the Art Institute of California, San Diego. He has eight years in-house professional design experience; three years as lead global Senior Graphic Designer and seventeen years in design and creative art. Garrett has been a great help in refining the LOVE design and providing sales support materials on various collections.
Estefani Gonzalez
Estefani currently studies Human Development with a concentration on Children Services at California State University, San Marcos. She is part of the board and an active member of Ballet Folklorico de CSUSM, where a team of dancers perform cultural dances specifically portraying the Mexican culture. She’s an essential part of our team ‒ she manages Customer Service, and is responsible for the inspection and shipping of products.
Ana Ruth Leon
Ana is currently a college student attending California State University, San Marcos. She is double majoring in Spanish and Psychological Sciences. She joined our team recently and is a great help as part of the ‘whatever needs doing’ support staff. She is looking forward to graduate school to pursue a career in Psychology.
